GuildWars Version(s) Guide - If your confused about what items come with what edition

GuildWars (Prophecies)

I did notice a lot of confusion, especially with the original Guildwars of what items / special stuff come with what version. Some don't realize there are 4 different versions of the original Guildwars as well. Here is a handy quick reference guide for what stuff comes with each game.

GuildWars PreOrder Box
Each box had a key for a free item. The item depends on which retailer you got the box from.

GuildWars “Collectors Edition”
Main Game
“Divine Glow” when doing emotes you would have some sort of “effect” on your hands while doing an emote

GuildWars “Special Edition”
Main Game
Code for GuildWars DirectSong Original Soundtrack (full) + 4 exclusive tracks not found anywhere else.
Code to give you some free pvp unlocks

This version was the same cost as the Collector Edition and primary target was Europe market but several online retailers allowed you to buy it in the United States.

GuildWars “Game of the Year Edition”
Main Game
Gave exclusive the “Asian” pre-order / cokeplay items
You can “upgrade” to this account from the online store for small fee.

2 exclusive starting weapons, one for Assassin, one for Ritualist.
24 hour head start before Factions “official” launch
